These standing programs sit inside a schedule of year-round forums coordinated by the Aurora Chamber of Commerce and the Regional Economic Alliance. The events give companies direct access to peers and practical topics without requiring travel outside the city. Participation has grown because firms see immediate value in learning about workforce changes while meeting potential partners at fixed local spots.
Venues and Groups Already Active
Aurora Business United, which reports nearly 1,000 members, holds its monthly sessions on the second Friday at Two Brothers Roundhouse downtown and on the last Thursday from March through October at Hopvine Restaurant and Brewery. The City of Aura Foundation will stage its first Launch Lunch & Learn Business & Community Wellness Expo on October 2, 2026, at the Prisco Community Center, with vendor spots open to both businesses and nonprofits. Additional October programming includes the Executive Voices: Women Building Today panel at Hollywood Casino Aurora and the Halloween Retailers' Trick or Treat event for local retailers.
The Chamber and Alliance also list the Annual Golf Classic in September and the Lumenaura Festival in October among their standing offerings. Each of these named programs operates from the same set of downtown and neighborhood locations, keeping travel time short for participants who already operate inside Aurora.
